The Romulan Star Empire Praetor has requested to speak with Federation Ambassador Sul, who is a Romulan to open further peace talks. However, with the request being made specifically for him, Starfleet is suspicious as it is highly unusual, but they agree and assign the newly commissioned Resolution to escort the Ambassador through the Neutral Zone and on 'til Romulus.

Unbeknownst to the Federation, Sul is an ex-Tal'Shiar operative who used to spy on the Federation. The Tal'Shiar want him dead, and its up to the Resolution crew to protect him from numerous assasination attempts that will put the crew in mortal danger...
