Appearance: Slender with a wavy mass of ash blonde hair, a ready smile and smokey-blue eyes, there is often a glint of humor twinkling in her gaze.

Anne stands at 5'5" and moves with brisk efficiency. Always on the move and often juggling three or four tasks at once, she is a dynamo of activity. There are occasions though when she is still, focusing her attention so intently upon a single task that the air around her practically vibrates.

Persona: Friendly. When she meets someone she always looks them in the eye. Believing strongly in second, third, forth and fifth chances Anne is unwilling to give up on anyone and is always ready to give people the benefit of the doubt. She feels that everyone is redeemable and although she has, on occasion, been used because of this attitude, it does not diminish her belief. She is much like her father in this regard.

Anne also believes that just because a person will not help themselves does not mean that they should not be helped. She generally takes the same opinion of those people who don't *want* to be helped.

Persistent and determined she is like a velvet steamroller, gently flattening any opposition. Because of her persistent and friendly nature, many people find it hard to say no to her and those her know her well often don't bother. Rarely is Anne deterred from getting what she wants.

Like her father before her, Anne lives to lend a helping hand, often at her own expense. She is righteous in her beliefs and opinionated in general although she strives to keep an open mind. Less charitable people have called her an interfering busybody.

As a healer she abhors violence, but as an officer she concedes that sometimes it is necessary.


Strengths: Anne is determined and optimistic woman with a genuine love of people and a willingness to help. Her bright and open demeanour makes her a very approachable while her ability to keep a secret makes her an easy confident.

Weaknesses: Highly opinionated and often too quick to make judgements Anne can be dogged, and extremely crafty in her determination to "help" even those who do not wish it.

Hobbies & Interests: Anne has several penpals she keeps in touch with, as well as keeping in frequent touch with her extended family. When not communicating with friends and family, or tracking down wayward patients, she indulges herself in rock-climbing, collecting pens, quills and other writing paraphernalia. Although she prides herself on never spreading gossip, Anne does love to listen to it and has no quams about eavesdropping on converstations, she it also currently learning how to lip read.

Background: Anne is the second of five siblings. Her birth father, Kendal Harvey, died shortly after her eighth birthday. He was also a doctor in Starfleet, and it was this occupation that saw his death. Anne's mother, Jyoti, is often prone to remark how like their father her two oldest children are. Both of them have his almost obsessive need to help people and have followed him into Starfleet's medical corp. On one memorable occasion she remarked that Manu and Anne had followed in their father's footsteps only to be closer to his ghost.

Both Anne and Manu, her elder brother, took the death of their father hard. They were all stationed on a Starbase at the time. After his death they moved back to Earth to be closer to their mother's family. The rest of Anne's siblings are a product of her mother's long standing affair with Gregor Rollins. Theirs is a marriage in all but name. Both her mother and Gregor are artists, although each in their own way, and Anne's younger siblings take after them, although the baby in the family, Svana, seems less passionate about her art than the others.

The household was a happy one after Gregor moved in, a place of fun and laughter, with none of the tense worry that had been a constant companion aboard the Starbase. And although the family was a close one, the age gap between Manu and Anne and the rest of their siblings meant that the two eldest formed a unit that often excluded the others.

Anne never had any doubts about what she would do with her life. Her dream was always to become a doctor and enter Starfleet. As a child and into her teenage years, she was always trying to fix things, people, situations even if none of them wanted fixing. She never let other people stop her from doing what she felt was right.

Fortunately Anne learned subtly and diplomacy over the years from butting heads with any number of people. She powered through medical school and the Academy, and although she chafed a little under the command structure of the later, it only fueled her ambition to one day become a Chief Medical Officer.

2369 - Anne turns 18 and graduates from college. Enters Starfleet Medical Academy.
2374 - With still 2 years of Medical training left to complete Anne is assigned to the medical vessel USS Nightingale due to the shortage of personnel caused by the Dominion War.
2375 - With the end of the Dominion War Anne returns to Starfleet Medical Academy.
2376 - Graduates Starfleet Medical Academy with honors. Assigned to USS Sand-Piper as ACMO.
2379 - Transfered to Starbase 317 as ACMO.
2381 - Assigned Acting CMO when current CMO, Lt. Cmdr. Leona Blake, is granted 6 months maternity leave.
- Resumes role as ACMO when Lt. Cmdr Blake returns to duty.
2382 - Reassigned to the USS Sand-piper with a promotion to CMO
2384 - Requests assignment to USS Resolution as CMO.
