Physical Description: A towering and muscular man. At 6’3” he stands above many individuals ad so has an imposing figure. This is emphasized through the bulk of Nathan Dixon. Nathan has a toned body and figure due to his vanity.

With his genetic enhancements, Nathan Dixon has four times the strength of an average human. His agility and sensory skills are enhanced by approximately 32-37% when compared to a human.

Though Nathan is 37 years of age, he looks around twenty years since he has an extended lifespan of about one third greater than that of the average human.

General Overview:

Mr. Dixon takes his job very seriously and tends to get things done whatever the costs. Mr. Dixon has seen a lot of things in his career overseeing no less than ten first contacts; two of which turned sour and Mr. Dixon was left with his crew to deal with the situation.
Mr. Dixon is caring towards his crew and treats them fairly and individually. Against his enemies, he is ruthless and generally un-forgiving.
Mr. Dixon has also taken an accidental journey to the Andromeda after defending the USS Alamo from being destroyed from a Lodrian invasion, however, whilst the crew of the Alamo ( which were also the crew of the Vendetta, his first command ) were rescued, the Alamo was destroyed.
Throughout Dixon’s career, he has served with distinction, bravery and a service to the Federation that has proved invaluable.

Since persons unknown to the Federation reactivated his ‘superhuman’ genes on the Grobnek II Mining Facility, Dixon’s behaviour as become more aggressive towards his enemies and his relationship with his crew has grown progressively stronger.

Strengths:

Mr. Dixon is intelligent and knowledgable, when endangered, he will exploit the weaknesses of his enemy. Mr. Dixon keeps his friends and crew close to heart and will often defend them to the last, even going against Medical Orders to spearhead a defence of his first Command after it was overun by Lodrians.

In addition to the above, Nathan has a limited number of strengths:

Mr. Dixon is considered medically sound. In 2377, he did undergo surgery to remove a Lodrian embryo from his left shoulder. Aside from the surgery, Dixon has had no other major medical conditions and is regarded as fit for duty.

Though his actual age is 37, Nathan Dixon’s physical age matches that of the time when he left the academy at the age of 20. This is due to the unauthorised and highly illegal manipulation of Dixon’s DNA, restoring the previously dormant ‘superhuman’ genes.

==History:==

Nathan Dixon was born on Earth in England on October 11th 2348 to parents James Dixon and Jennifer Porter. Nathan lived in the town of Carlisle for the first five years. He began his education on Earth, attending a local pre-school and first year in school. Dixon, always a keen learner, enjoyed school. Dixon lived happily with his parents. They got engaged in 2350, but the celebrations were short lived when Dixon’s mother, Jennifer committed suicide.

Dixon’s father, after living on Earth for another 3 years, moved aboard the USS Ivankiv as an Engineering Officer. The ship was an Ambassador Class, and had some provisions for his son, Nathan to attend the ship school and live with him. Dixon and his father lived aboard the ship for seven years, before Nathan got sent to live with his grandparents, his father promising that he would visit for Nathan’s birthday. He didn’t, because two days after Nathan arrived back on Earth, the Ivankiv was destroyed after being impacted by a stray asteroid.

For the next ten years, Nathan lived with his grandparents and attended school on Earth. It didn’t take long for him to adapt to not being around his father, but the initial impact of his loss, did have an effect on his education. However, due to home tuition, Nathan quickly got back on track. Subsequently, he frequently came top of the class in many areas, usually English, Maths and Science though occasionally P.E.

During his time at the Academy, Dixon studied Tactics and Strategic Development. He took some Marine training alongside firearms training. Captain Dixon is a skilled pilot

However, all was not as it seemed. In the year 2384, Captain Dixon was taken captive along with a dozen others by Cardassian forces. The Captain was hung up and stripped bare for interrogation by the Cardassian Gul Dakut. Early attempts to break the Captain failed and so the Gul left the Captain hang there for twelve hours. About fifteen minutes before the Gul returned, a mysterious man he claimed to be named only ‘X’ appeared and revealed the truth about Captain Dixon. In the year 2187, the early Starfleet managed to find a secret laboratory containing many fetuses of Genetically Engineered Human Augments. All but one of the batch was destroyed, the surviving one was returned to Starfleet H.Q. and placed in stasis for research purposes.

In 2347, the people who were supposedly Dixon’s mother and father found out they couldn’t have offspring and so they sought to have an adopted child. Starfleet Command thought that this would be the perfect opportunity for them to test out ‘Project: Restore’, a top secret operation that had been created to hunt down and ‘restore’ augments to their original human form. Embryo 233-X-N was the first to be ‘restored’; the program involved injecting subjects with a solution that neutralises the genetic enhancements. It worked, but only on the fetus.

Dixon’s ‘mother’ and ‘father’ were given the restored fetus and was allowed to be ‘born’ under laboratory conditions. The baby Dixon was then named and given to his adoptive parents.

‘X’ then began talking about how he can’t help Dixon escape directly, but can give him a little help. Upon questioning by Dixon, ‘X’ stated that all he had to do was to take a blue coloured serum. Dixon agreed and ‘X’ swapped the vial of truth drugs lying on a desk inside a hypospray with the serum, which had some of Dixon’s DNA that was reprogrammed with the augment genes intact and the designed to multiply and replace his current ones. ‘X’ left the room seconds before Dakut returned to begin interrogating Dixon once again. As suspected, the Gul mistakenly injected Dixon with the DNA which transformed the Captain into the person he is now.
